An autumn Saturday

It's a saturday with crisp clear air and a blue sky. Perfect for coffee and cosy sweaters and watching the leaves turn. I'm off for a stroll before I hunker down with my study texts.

Black & Blue, Check.

Sparked by The Sartorialist, I'm going to be pulling out my navy, peacock, and powder shades to mix up with black and check patterns.

October

Autumn suddenly snuck up on me and now I'm left dashing for sweaters and boots and seem to have developed an obsession for plummy burgundy tones. I've also been reaching for my cosy scarves and hats as this blustery weather makes me want to tramp through the leaves that are starting to fall, with a caramel latte this crisp air is really welcoming.
It's back to school as well for me as I take on a new qualification alongside the 9-5. So it's long dark nights at my desk cosied up in cashmere with textbooks and case studies piled high -wish me luck!

apologies + new adventures

Massive apologies for the severe lack of posts recently. Since my past post (can not believe it was in April- my sincerest apologies) my life had changed gear and gone into over-drive... I've finished my second year of University (which literally flew by), successfully passed some of the hardest exams of my life, moved my life down to London and started a 12 month placement working for an international company...

So now it's mid-August and my life is finally starting to find it's groove again... Living in London is absolutely amazing, particularly in summer 2012, and I'm only now able to find the time to share all of my adventures.

Already I have had the time of my life enjoying Wimbledon in the sunshine, the Glorious London Olympics (which was too amazing for words..), weekends spent exploring our new neighbourhood, lazy days in relaxing in parks in the sunshine and of course experiencing the new nightlife!

I can not wait to continue the adventures of discovering more of this city....!

But easily the best thing about living down here is that I am now much closer to my sister... Which makes seeing her a lot easier & more frequent! We have already made the most of this, with shopping and spa trips, but I can not wait for the rest of the year spending more time with her!

So let the adventures continue......!

On rotation

Instead of bikinis and cut-offs the British summer has me continuing my Spring rotation of jeans, boots and jumpers.
